Good food! Good service! I love the sandwich called "Tricia's Bounty". It has Gouda cheese, Asiago mayonnaise, cranberry sauce and turkey on it. The price point is a little steep for local people though. I would suggest adding a value menu.

Definitely a jewel of Spruce Pine, this place has been around for awhile and knows how to pull off a relaxing atmosphere while having an impressive amount of delectable and tasty flavors/choices. If you need a little pick-me-up and you're driving through the area then stop by. You won't be disappointed.

I ordered 2 pickles per sandwich and paid for 2 pickles per sandwich and it's listed on both my receipts. I only got one pickle per sandwich. I'm not going back.

A favorite local eatery. Nice sandwiches, salads, soups of the day. A healthier alternative to the burger and deep fried places if you are into freshly prepared food. Even when it's crowded around lunch it's so worth the wait. The owner is an amazing lady.

Enjoyed the people and wait staff...They do breakfast and lunch...Free WIFI...They do offer Heavy Cream with tea and coffee...I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere.

Has a BLT with pimento cheese - delish! My wife had a French Dip that she said was also great. Left with some yummy coffee for walking Lower Street. Cool place!

We had a good breakfast (waffles, biscuits, wraps, croissants, Danish, donuts...) and a good coffee selection. The hot tea selection is pretty limited though.

Great coffee and snacks. Sometimes we have to wait a really long time on our order. The staff is nice and the environment is welcoming. I wish they had more healthy options to choose from a lot of the items are full of sugar. I am glad a place in Spruce Pine has Almond milk though. Would give 5 stars but they are very pricey.

Fantastic food, coffee, drinks, and desserts. The atmosphere is for ALL ages. Great place to gather with family and friends or just to sit by yourself and relax. The owners are fantastic and the staff is great!!

I have some pretty difficult food allergies & celiac & Tricia answered all my questions & my order was perfect! I haven't had tomatoes that good since the end of summer! I love DT's comment to fresh local food. Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly, and I brought home a half pound of freshly ground coffee. I'll definitely be back!

Great ice cream! Haven't tried the food yet, but I assume it's great also. Biggest variety of coffee flavors that I know of. Great wifi with a charging station. Places to sit and read or use laptops. Really good environment for anyone. Different types of food for any occasion.

Down from WI and stopped in. I tried the Blue Ridge roast beef sandwich and it was DELICIOUS. Paired it with a caramel mocha twister and WOW! HIGHLY recommend stopping in if you're anywhere near

We have only had breakfast here, but always try to go at least once when in town for the week. They have a good selection of breakfast items and all have been good. The coffee is very good as well as the service. The location is downtown and the atmosphere is great. We plan stopping by later next month.

Honestly I've not ate there. But I do delivery supplies to them . Everyone seems to like DT's. I know for a fact that the owner and his wife are very friendly. The kitchen and wait staff are all so nice and helpful ! I would highly recommend a family visit to DT's in downtown Spruce Pine NC.

What a fantastic little place in a gorgeous little town! We stopped here with a large group during one of our BMW CCA mountain drives and were certainly hungry for some delicious lunch. Thankfully one of our members had been here before because there was certainly no better choice. The staff was very friendly and the food was sent out very quickly even though we were such a large group! The seating in the front of the restaurant is bright and open, and there is additional seating in the back that is perfect for loud groups like us. If I am ever back in town on my own for one of my trips, I will be sure to stop by for lunch again!

Everything a local coffee and sandwich place should be. Good food, good prices, good people. (I don't drink coffee so someone else will have to weigh in on that. The iced tea is freshly made and good.)

Warm and cozy coffee shop yet plenty large. Different seating areas. A nice selection of pastries and tasty things to eat. Great drinks selection. Great place and good prices.

Recommended by one of the employees of the local grocery store and so glad I asked. Excellent coffee, and if I hadn't of been in a hurry I would of gladly sat by the window and became a part of the furniture.

Got. Coffee and single egg plate with bacon. Food and coffee both were extremely good. Bacon had a nice smoked flavor and customer service was excellent. Will be back again.

A little hard to find but worth finding! Great menu selection for drinks and food. We only got drinks but they were delicious. It has a nice and relaxing atmosphere. Very welcoming! Would recommend this place over their competition.

We are locals and crave DT's nearly every day. We've had breakfast and lunch...several different dishes and we are always overly satisfied. Usually for breakfast, bacon egg and cheese bagel, calamity, or gravy biscuit. Lunch is normally the java shop sub or our favorite Tricia's Bounty. They offer many snacks and cakes, chips and delicious sides to choose from. They are a full service coffee shop that make every cup to order with fresh beans and flavors. If you have a sweet tooth or kiddos, they have ice cream to flavor your drinks, cones, or cups. Short wait and friendly service.

Small town food from a place that wraps its industrial pastries in glad wrap to keep them fresh an extra few days. Decent breakfast sandwiches, but bagels not very fresh or tasty. It's the south, so should have dynamite biscuits. The coffee is OK, but a bit sour and musty sometimes. Atmosphere is great, with large room and various comfortable seats. They do some in-house baking , but mostly cookies. I go there a lot, and it's good/decent, but not great. The staff is friendly and helpful, but not bubbly like my favorite waffle shop.

Awesome place to go to grab a quick bite to eat and get the best coffee in town! Staff is always incredibly fast and friendly! I’ve even made a few friends with the staff and we joke around a little bit when I stop by. DT’s really feels like a home away from home. Highly recommended.

Everytime I'm in town I have to have a DT Coffee! Absolutely love the coffe,atmosphere, and staff.

Coffee was great and bought 2 coffee mugs... They have different assortments of coffee $12 something a lb. And the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This is THE place to be in Spruce Pine. The owners put their heart and sole into this coffee/sandwich shop, into their customers, and into our town. The coffee selection is great. The food is always great quality and served up quick.
